What’s everyones ideal treatment plan here?
Mine is as follows
Maxillary 1st premolar extractions
Mandibular 1st premolar extractions
limit use of interarch elastics maintain vertical
Utilize a LLHA to aid in correction of midline

1st Question – Yes, I can see retract mandibular central incisors. Probably maintain man lateral incisors. So good eye! I think example of not every possible response has to be written to meet the objectives of the case.
2nd Question – I like your treatment plan. I’d feel comfortable doing the same!
