I find myself getting the answers roughly correct, but in the wrong way. I have a few questions about the mechanics of answering questions:
1. Should I not give explanations? I find myself answering like this – Advance mandibular molars and incisors through a combination of normal growth and growth modification. Then your answer is – Advance mandibular first molars.
Is less more when answering these types of questions?
2. The second problem is that I will give reasons or mechanics on questions like what are the ideal treatment outcomes. Then I get to how could you improve the deep bite and I say something to this effect. Extrude posterior teeth (your answer would be bite ramps). Level curve of Spee (use RCOS wires).
So I am somehow confusing when to say what tools I will use and what the desired outcome is.
Does this make sense? My fear is that I will understand the information I need to for the exam, but present it incorrectly for the desired answer.
