    Lily,

    Interesting question. Can you explain that a bit further about why lingually tipped incisors indicate a diagnosis of transverse discrepancy for you?

    For this answer I look at the apical bases in the posterior to see that they did not diagnosis of a skeletal transverse discrepancy.

      No, not incisors- posterior teeth. To me, the mandibular posterior teeth looked lingually inclined indicating a compensation for a narrow maxilla.

        Doh! You sure did say posterior teeth! Sorry that I read it too fast.

        Yes in the Module 1 case I see the lingually inclined molars and if you were citing that as your justification for a suspected transverse deficiency then you’d be golden.

        That is a great thing about each exam being reviewed by multiple orthodontists. It gives you space to explain your observations.

        So “Transverse discrepancy in posterior evidence by lingually tipped man molars” would be good observation points. I think we could consider adding that as an option on this case.
