    Prompt 2

Prompt 2: What is the facial/soft tissue diagnosis?

I thought his facial profile was straight to slightly concave. And the answer says mildly convex.

    What am I missing?

Also not so related to this case; but are we allowed to use subdivisions and I know ppl get this confused as so what side should be the subdivision( CL I or the CL II side)

Prompt 6 What are your treatment considerations for treating

    previous wear?

What is a “connector”in regards to treating incisal wear, the answer say “connector height”

    Adedolapo,

This is covered well in Proffitt’s Contemporary Orthodontics from the reading list. Do you have a copy of that handy?

It’s the micro-esthetic portion of treatment planning.

There is the embrasure, then the contact point, and the connector is the length of the contact between the teeth before they diverge gingivally. It’s Chapter 6 in the Proffit book if you have it.

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks

    Carter

Awesome! Thanks for the follow up!

One frequent speaker who touches on this is Stu Frost. He references the micro / mini-esthetics detailing frequently in his lectures.
