Amy, you caught a typo! Definitely win a prize. That should read U1 – SN decreased due to Class II mechanics.

    Congrats!

Is there a reason you didn’t comment on all 4 metrics? 1 to NA, SN, 2 to NB, MP?

Also, I thought lower incisor to NB would advance both due to growth and treatment? Not treatment alone. Ie, wiithout treatment, with CS4, I would’ve expected lower incisor to NB to increase.

Can you read my responses and give me some feedback on what the graders might think of these answers?

    1. Max incisor maintained AP position relative to NA due to treatment (growth restrained by FA, side effect of Class II mechanics)

    2. Max incisor retracted AP position relative to SN due to treatment (growth restrained by FA, and retraction due to bracket prescription, side effect of Class II mechanics)

    3. Lower incisor advanced relative to NB due to growth + treatment

    4. Lower incisor proclined relative to MP due to treatment effect

    Thanks for your time.

      Leah,

Thanks for all the active discussion!

Those responses all sound great to me and match the language the board wants us all to speak together.

      Keep up the good work!

LOL my reply to this prompt. Overkilled. :/

    1. U1 to NA decreased

    2. U1 to SN decreased

    3. Max incisors were retroclined relative to SN

    4. Max incisors were retracted relative to NA

    5. L1 to NB increased

    6. L1 to MP increased

    7. Man incisors were flared relative to MP

    8. Man incisors were advanced relative to NB

    9. Class II mechanics resulted in proclination and advancement of lower incisors

    10. Class II mechanics resulted in uprighting and retraction of maxillary incisors

      Brain,

Yea overkill is fine. I like the response style of your answers 3 & 4 and 7 &8 instead of 1&2 / 5&6.

When I was concerned about going “overkill”, I made a bullet list of 20 so I would cut myself off sometime in responses and not dive do 30 responses on a question when they were likely just looking for 5-7 responses (just based on the sample cases posted by ABO)
