Retention
Hi again!
I am looking for a review of retention. ie. which retainers are best to use and when they are indicated. Are there any resources that you would suggest?

For retention, I see the key thing to identify is what movement needs retention?
– Was the canine width expanded significantly?
– Does maxillary transverse expansion need retention?
– Do extraction sites need held closed?
– Is there a risk of a deepbite returning?
– Diastema(ta) that were closed?
These then inform my retention decision personally.
