The Seasons of Life by Jim Rohn | 5-Minute Friday
Today I want to recount one insightful talk of a favorite mentor of mine; one I wish I had met. Considered to be among the greatest motivational speakers of all time, most of you have probably heard of Jim Rohn.
In a particularly profound talk of his from 1981, Rohn related that things happen at known intervals in life, just like in nature.
As we know, with the four seasons, fall is followed by winter, and spring is followed by summer. Additionally, we all know dark is followed by light.
What does all this mean?
Every one of us will experience winter, whether financially, personally, or professionally; we’re going to face it. But winter doesn’t last forever. It will soon turn to spring, then summer.
Currently, many people are worried about the looming recession. But just as it has always happened before, the cycle of recession will soon be over, and a period of prosperity will follow.
Tune in to this 5-minute episode for tips on how to deal with the tough times in our lives.
